Commercial waste

The council provides an effective, responsible commercial waste service to help businesses meet their responsibilities for waste disposal.

The service is available to businesses within the city boundary; however terms and conditions apply to the service. Enquiries are also welcome from businesses in close proximity to the city. There is a charge for the service for which customers are invoiced and can pay either by phone using a credit card or at most high street banks and post offices or directly to the council at the civic offices.

Applications for trade bins are required and you can apply by phone, by requesting an application form or in person. To contact us please use the details provided at the foot of this page.

Our opening hours for telephone enquiries are:

• Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 4.30pm.
• Friday - 8.30am to 4pm.
