Youth support
Southampton's youth support services create opportunities for young people's personal and social development. The service is open to all young people aged 11-25. We work to raise their aspirations and award their achievements. Our young people work hard to become active and constructive citizens of Southampton.
Youth centre work
We give young people a safe place to meet.
We offer outdoor activities, trips and events.
We offer group discussions, youth forums and community projects.
We give information and advice about healthy eating and sexual health.
Detached youth work
We meet with young people in the places they hang out on the streets.
We give support, information and advice as well as a listening ear.
Project work
We offer pieces of work which explore issues relevant to young people's lives such as health, relationships, and bullying.
