Youth support

Southampton's youth support services create opportunities for young people's personal and social development. The service is open to all young people aged 11-25. We work to raise their aspirations and award their achievements. Our young people work hard to become active and constructive citizens of Southampton.

Youth centre work

  • We give young people a safe place to meet.

  • We offer outdoor activities, trips and events.

  • We offer group discussions, youth forums and community projects.

  • We give information and advice about healthy eating and sexual health.

Detached youth work

  • We meet with young people in the places they hang out on the streets.

  • We give support, information and advice as well as a listening ear.

Project work

We offer pieces of work which explore issues relevant to young people's lives such as health, relationships, and bullying.
